Well my friends, that time has come. We are leaving NZ tomorrow for 2 weeks in Australia before heading home for Memorial Day weekend. We really have such mixed emotions about leaving. We are so sad to have to say goodbye to so many of our friends here who we've spent holidays with, laughed with, cried with and who truly have become like family. We are also bummed to be leaving the amazing country with such beauty at every corner. I have never lived in such a beautiful place and am not sure if I ever will again (but hopefully I will!). But we are also happy to be going home. We are looking forward to spending more time with our families. We are excited to put together our first home. We are hopeful for the future. We are so glad for all the memories we will take with us.

You may return to the U.S. now and people may say, "How was your trip?" when in reality it was no trip, it was YOUR LIFE and still is and always will be. New Zealand's in your blood now.
